I know breastfeeding! As a parent to 5 children and a registered nurse in labor in delivery, I've helped thousands of babies breastfeed for over 20 years. I applaud you for your efforts and recognizing the benefits of breastfeeding and I know it's not always easy. If you've found yourself on this page, seeking help and answers, I am here for you. Please feel free to message or email me and I'll try to respond within 24 hours.
I began my nursing career in Hawaii and have been a nurse in Orange County since for over 25 years. My work as a labor and delivery nurse has allowed me to assist new mothers latch their newborns on to the breast from the moment they are born, during the golden hour while skin-to-skin in the hospital. In addition, I've spent years working in the Breast Center with patients with breast problems.
My favorite part of each day is assisting new moms latch their babies onto the breast. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC) here as your personal Latch Nurse. If needed, I work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in determining the best approach to more severe lactation-related problems.
